My Story at a Glance
19 Years Old:
I dropped out of college after a professor told me, “You’re not good enough.” I made the mistake of letting those words define me, and I took a door-to-door sales job, making 200+ cold calls weekly. This was an excellent experience in how to craft what good communication skills look like.
21 Years Old:
I invested $7,500 I didn’t have in a mentor—no handouts—just the proper guidance. I joined an award-winning company, worked 80-hour weeks, and ranked in the top 10% of sales.
28 Years Old:
I transitioned into corporate training and met my wife, who said, “You’re smart enough to return to college.” I took on side hustles, stand-up comedy, and school, earning a degree in Organizational Behavior and Leadership.
32 Years Old:
I graduated, became a sales manager, and led a team to explosive success—until the pandemic changed everything. It was a setback but also a turning point.
Today:
I’m a sales enablement trainer, part-time MBA student, and content creator. Through my podcast (The Manager’s Mic) and YouTube channel (@PersistenceMastery), I help corporate professionals refine their management and communication skills—for FREE!
